Brad is a sport psychologist based on the West Coast of Scotland. As a practitioner, he has a vast amount of experience, across various sports. Currently, he works with Tennis Scotland and the academy teams at Kilmarnock and Dundee United, and has successfully supported athletes in various sports such as archery, snooker, bowls, athletics and more.
His collaborative approach focuses on forming strong relationships and tailoring psychological strategies to help athletes of all levels achieve their goals.
Brad was asked to work on specific areas for the U21 Squad. He took time to meet the athlete prior to the online sessions that allowed him to identify potential outcomes and develop a proposed action plan responding to their needs. Each session he provided was interactive and led at the correct pace, offering athletes time to reflect and respond. I would recommend Brad's services both on an individual and group level basis.

After completing our contact form, we offer a free 30-minute call. This allows us to get to know you and understand the issues you have been experiencing, while giving you a chance to get to know us, our beliefs and our approach. In the first 'official' session, we focus on building a strong relationship, creating a foundation for your success. We'll work together to deepen our understanding of your perspective to ensure we provide the right support moving forward.
We offer both online and in-person sessions tailored to your situation, location and needs. Whilst our Group Workshops and Team Consultations are most effective in person, our 1-2-1 sessions can be conducted either in person or online for your convenience.
At Ambition, we integrate the 'Triple A' framework into our practice, which stands for Awareness, Acceptance and Accountability. This method incorporates a range of psychological techniques and processes. We'll establish awareness through utilising soft counselling skills, promoting acceptance using ACT - based metaphors and experiential exercises, as well as encouraging accountability through structured mental training tasks and reflective practices.
